Insurance & leak repairs
We are an approved insurance repairer, and water is the thing that quietly wrecks more vans than accidents do.
If your van has been damaged, or you have found a soft floor, a stained ceiling or a musty smell, bring it to us. We will find the source, deal with your insurer on the quote if there is a claim, and you get it back fixed properly rather than patched.

Solar installs & repairs
Solar is the difference between a two-night stay and a two-week one.
We size the system to how you actually travel – how many days off-grid, what you’re running, whether you’re chasing sun or shade – rather than selling you the biggest panel that fits the roof.

Fault-finding and repairs on systems that aren’t charging like they should
EWOF on completion, so it’s certified the day it’s fitted
Solar Start-Up package, from $1,499 installed (incl. GST)
Includes a 200W solar panel, solar controller, wiring, fuses and mounting brackets. Your vehicle needs an existing leisure battery, which isn’t included. Adding to an existing solar setup is priced on assessment. A 50% deposit secures your booking and covers parts, with the balance due on completion.
Diesel heater installs & repairs
A diesel heater turns a three-season van into a four-season one.
Dry heat, low draw on the batteries, and it keeps going long after the campground power’s run out. We install them properly – sealed, vented and secured – and we fix the ones that have stopped working.

Self-containment
Self-containment certification is what lets you freedom camp legally in New Zealand.
Under the new rules, every vehicle needs a fixed toilet and a green warrant card – the old blue stickers no longer count, and plenty of older vans need work to get there. We’ll tell you straight what yours needs and do the job so it passes.

Servicing, WOF & EWOF
If your van is in with us for a repair or an install, we will sort the WOF, EWOF and gas cert at the same time, so it leaves with everything signed off in one visit.
Just need a cert on its own? Email us and we will point you to one of the mobile certifiers we work with. It is usually quicker than waiting for a workshop slot.
